About

Dr. Papanicolaou

As your doctor, my commitment to your health begins with my excitement to see your life story play out in line with your deepest-held values. I want you to have as much passion and energy as possible for the things that are important to you as a human being. I know you bring an utterly unique biology and life story into the exam room. Conditions you struggle with are complex in nature and have an equally complex impact on your life. You might be watching your child’s health problems cloud her future, or your own ambitions may be fading under the spectre of cognitive decline. Whatever your symptoms may be, I believe they call for thorough investigation into root causes—and you deserve a comprehensive health plan that will allow you to dream again.

I spent twenty years practicing medicine in a private practice before joining the UltraWellness Center, where I have seen people with chronic diseases from all over the world establish a lifetime of health through functional medicine.

Outside the office, I can often be found pitch side watching any one of my three kids playing soccer, cycling the rolling hills of Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire, playing basketball anywhere there is a hoop, and hiking with my wife and dogs. In quiet moments I love reading sports history and biographies, and I find pleasure in writing. I am an active member of my church community.
